We are delighted to report that our fantastic Bridgend office has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Professional Services Business of the Year category of the Bridgend Business Forum Awards.

What Are the Bridgend Business Forum Awards?

The awards recognise and reward excellence demonstrated by businesses operating within the Bridgend County Borough. This is the first time we have entered these awards and as finalists we look forward to attending the awards ceremony and dinner on Friday, 13th September in the Coed Yr Mwster Hotel in Coychurch, Bridgend.

Why Are Howells Shortlisted?

Our Bridgend office is a conveyancing centre of excellence where we complete the sale and purchase of thousands of properties each year for clients predominantly located in England.

Although the Bridgend office was only opened four years ago, we have achieved a lot in this relatively short period. Staff numbers have increased from four to 20 people and our ongoing aim is to continue to increase this by recruiting experienced legal experts as well as graduates starting out in their careers.

Commenting on being shortlisted, Michael Smith, Director of Howells said:

“The whole of the Bridgend team deserves a lot of praise for this accolade. The team continues to surpass the targets set for business development and customer service. We are honoured to have been shortlisted amongst other prestigious Bridgend based companies and look forward to meeting the other finalists in September.

“The success of the Bridgend office is representative of the business and has given the Directors the confidence to press on with their ambitious plans for the future. The Directors continue to share their optimism about the future and they are anticipating further growth over each of the coming 5 years of circa 10% per annum, both in terms of staff numbers and turnover.”
