Paul Lindsey, a well-known and respected solicitor, has joined the private client department here at Howells Solicitors as a partner.

An Experienced Addition to a Growing Firm

Most recently Paul worked in the trust and estate team at a leading London firm, having previously headed his own team at a regional law firm in Newport.

Howells has experienced a large increase in the number of high value, complex estates and trusts it deals with in recent times. We have a considerable client base across South Wales and are continually working to improve our services. Recruiting a leading expert to meet the growing demand has therefore been a priority for us. Paul joins an already considerable team of experienced lawyers with complementary skills.

Laith Khatib, Director and Head of our Trust and Estate Department at Howells, was delighted to announce the appointment. He said:

“We have ambitious plans to lead the South Wales market in this area and to achieve our goal it is key that we have the very best people. Paul has a lot of experience working with clients in all aspects of trust and estate planning. He is one of the few lawyers around who can help clients with contentions and non-contentious trust and estate work. His skills bring a new dimension to our team and this will undoubtedly benefit our clients and promote the development of the department.”

The ambition to lead the market in this field of law is shared by Paul and he is very excited about his future career with the firm. He said:

“Howells are a dynamic and ambitious firm which has experienced rapid growth over the last few years. I am tremendously excited about the wealth of opportunities here. I hope to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our private client offering while building on the firm’s strong reputation for giving clients the very best service.”
