We’re proud to announce that we have been shortlisted in three categories of the 2018 Modern Law Conveyancing Awards.

What Are the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards?

Widely regarded as one of the most respected awards in the UK conveyancing industry, Howells has won the Conveyancing Firm of the Year – Wales category for the last two years and has been shortlisted again this year.

We are also finalists in the Client Care Award and for the overall award of National Conveyancing Firm of the Year.

The Modern Law Awards celebrate excellence and innovation demonstrated by law firms from across the UK and this year received a record number of nominations. The winners of each category will be announced on Thursday 28th June in a celebratory dinner hosted in the Rum Warehouse, Stanley Dock, Liverpool.

Great Recognition for Our Hard-Working Team

Mark Hobbs, Managing Director of Howells Solicitors said:

“It’s a great honour for Howells to be recognised at a national level. We are thrilled that we have been nominated for three categories alongside other leading UK law firms. It’s a testament to our unique culture, commitment to client service, and the quality of the conveyancing services we provide to clients throughout the UK.

“We are also extremely proud to be shortlisted in the National category where over 30 other well-respected firms also entered.”

The organisers of the Awards said:

“Success is particularly well-earned this year, as there has been more pressure than ever on conveyancing firms to adjust fees, streamline their processes and improve communication with clients. But the sector has responded to these challenges with drive and determination, and the past year has seen an impressive variety of initiatives and innovations to enable the firms who embrace them to thrive in a difficult market.

“The most deserving of these firms will be recognised by an esteemed panel of expert judges, who have been carefully selected because of their sector knowledge. The judging panel includes leading professionals from the UK housing market including Mike Harlow, General Counsel & Deputy Chief Land Registrar - Land Registry, Sheila Kumar, Chief Executive, Council for Licensed Conveyancers and Paula Higgins, Chief Executive, HomeOwners Alliance.”
