Howells Solicitors were delighted to win three awards at the South Wales Law Awards last Friday.
Attending the glittering ceremony in The Hilton Hotel, Cardiff, our team of solicitors were invited onto the stage three times to collect their awards for the following categories:
- Solicitor of the Year – Mark Hobbs
- Residential Conveyancing Law Services of the Year
- Paralegal of the Year – Terri Kirk
We were also finalists in two other categories:
- Employment Law Services of the Year
- Personal Injury law Firm of the Year
The finalists and eventual individual and company winners represented the best of the legal industry in Wales.
All entrants were assessed by an independent panel of industry experts from market leading professional organisations and involved detailed application forms requiring evidence of the work undertaken.

It was an honour to attend the event on Friday and to leave with three awards is very satisfying for all involved. The awards provide us with a good benchmark to compare how we are performing as a firm in terms of our customers service against our competitors. The organisers always invite highly respected industry professionals to form the judging panel and the feedback received is most helpful, and of value to us as a business.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary last year and will use these awards to spur us on to continue to improve and develop the business.”
