Howells Solicitors, a leading Welsh law firm, continues to benefit from investing in developing a comprehensive training programme, with a further three trainees qualifying as solicitors while a fresh intake commences their journey to qualification.

The directors of Howells Solicitors have congratulated Ellena Propert, Amy Cranfield and Hannah Rees and are very pleased all three have decided to remain with Howells upon qualification.

Meet the New Hires

Ellena Propert joined our probate team with both Amy Cranfield and Hannah Rees joining the matrimonial team based in our Cardiff head office.

Meanwhile, three further trainees have started their two-year training which will give them to valuable experience of working in different departments within the law firm.

Commenting on her own personal and professional development whilst undertaking the two-year training contract, Ellena Propert said, “Since joining Howells in 2017, it has been my ambition to qualify as a solicitor. I was very pleased to be accepted for a training place and the varied work has given me a fantastic insight into various areas of law and helped me decide which area I wished to specialise into.”

Amy Cranfield who joins our matrimonial team, particularly enjoyed the opportunities to accompany senior members of the team at client meetings and to then assist with their matters. She said, “I feel I have received the right balance of responsibility and supervision throughout my training. Working closely with the partners in the department has given me not only the legal and practical knowledge, but also the skills and commerciality to contribute towards the success of the firm.”
