We have further strengthened our commercial team of legal experts with the appointment of commercial litigation specialist Owen Lloyd.
Who is Owen Lloyd and What Will He Do at Howells Solicitors?
A graduate from Swansea University and a fluent Welsh speaker, Owen is a Chartered Legal Executive who has previously worked for well-known regional law firms, as well as a London law practice.
Owen will be working with Jacky Jones, Head of Commercial Litigation at Howells, utilising his extensive knowledge and experience to assist clients with all legal matters relating to contract disputes, director/shareholder disputes, insolvency matters (acting individuals, companies, and insolvency practitioners), intellectual property matters, defamation, the sale of businesses and asset sales.
Commenting on the appointment Jacky said:
“Owen brings an exciting new dimension to our litigation team. He will be able to assist and guide our clients through the many challenges they might face in litigation. Plus, our clients will want to know they have a safe pair of hands to guide them through the process, which Owen can certainly do.”
As well as specialising in commercial litigation, Owen also represents sports and media professionals by providing expert advice and guidance for contracts and disputes. His clients in this area of law include international and regional rugby players and footballers, as well as recording artists signed to major and independent labels.
