Our conveyancing departments were highly commended in the Direct Conveyancing Firm of the Year category at the LFS Conveyancing Awards that took place in Birmingham last week.

This is the fifth consecutive year our talented team of conveyancing experts have been successful in these awards, which clearly demonstrates the quality of our specialist services on a national level.

Widely regarded as the largest Conveyancing Awards, the aim of the evening was to recognise and acknowledge success within the conveyancing industry, shining a spotlight on the achievements of both firms and individuals.

Tristan Lewis, Business Development Manager here at Howells Solicitors recognises the significance of the LFS Conveyancing Awards, he said:

“The awards provide us with a good benchmark to compare how we are performing as a firm in terms of our customers service against our competitors. The organisers always invite highly-respected industry professionals to form the judging panel and the feedback received is most helpful, and of value to us as a business.

“We are very pleased to be highly commended in the Direct Conveyancing Firm of the Year category and will look forward to entering the LFS Conveyancing Awards again next year.”

Mark Hobbs, Managing Director here at Howells Solicitors is proud of the continued success in these and other awards. He added:

“As Tristan mentioned, entering awards, such as the LFS, is important to us as it does provide a useful gauge for us to use to compare our services.”

A Very Successful Couple of Months

The conveyancing departments in all six of our offices are continuing to perform above target. In August, we completed a record number of residential property transactions with our medical negligence, personal injury, employment law and company commercial departments also performing very strongly.

“We are delighted with our recent results for August.” commented Mark Hobbs.

“It has in the past proved to be one of the quieter months of the year for our industry, due to the summer holidays, bank holidays and a decrease in conveyancing transactions following the surge in demand during the Spring. When you add the uncertainty that Brexit is causing to the UK residential property market and the economy, it makes our achievement that much more significant.”
