We are fortunate to employ teams of legal professionals who are not only dedicated and determined to do their best for our clients, but also show compassion and understanding for others.
One such example is Sam Cavender, who works in the conveying department of our Cardiff office. Instead of going outdoors to enjoy the sunshine, Sam spent the weekend baking cup cakes to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society.
Sam had only mentioned in passing that she was planning to bake this weekend. We had no idea just how many cupcakes Sam planned on making.
So, when Sam turned up for work yesterday laden with trays of cupcakes all beautifully presented with a range of different flavours and toppings including Kinder Bueno, Biscoff, lemon drizzle we were all very pleasantly surprised and spoilt!
Word quickly spread throughout the Cardiff office and within just a short period of time Sam had sold out and raised £250 for Alzheimer’s Society to support them in their tireless work to support those living with dementia and their families and loved ones.
This isn’t the first time Sam has taken time out from her busy schedule to help others. In the last year alone, Sam has selflessly fund raised for Help for Heroes, ran 100 miles in a month for The Teenage Cancer Trust as well as again putting her trainers on to run three marathons in a month for mental health charity Mind.
