As one of the original members of our team who successfully launched our Bridgend office, Leah Moore, Partner and Solicitor is a highly experienced conveyancing expert who has helped hundreds of clients successfully buy and sell residential properties across England and Wales.

Where Were You Born and When did You Qualify?

I was born and raised in Abergavenny and made the move to Bridgend 12 years ago. After graduating with a degree in Law from the University of Glamorgan, I qualified in a high street firm in Newport in 2009, where I worked for seven years undertaking all different aspects of residential conveyancing.

Why Did You Choose a Career in Law and Your Specialist Area?

Although it sounds cliché, the main reason I chose a career in law is because I wanted to help people. Residential conveyancing was one of the first specialist areas I studied, and gained experience in, and I thoroughly enjoy the variety of cases it provides me with.

What Are Your Favourite Aspects of Residential Conveyancing?

Having the opportunity to assist my clients with what can be a stressful time is valuable to me. Helping a client make their dream home a reality is my favourite aspect of my job.

Can You Provide an Overview to Demonstrate the Variety of Cases You Have Worked on?

As part of my caseload, I undertake all aspects of conveyancing. This includes working with first time buyers, young families, and couples looking to downsize throughout England and Wales.

What Are Your Career Ambitions?

I have recently achieved one of my long-standing career goals by becoming a partner at Howells.

I am currently working with fellow senior members of the team based in our Bridgend office to develop our presence in the Bridgend area so we can help more of the local communities with the purchasing and selling of residential properties.

Outside of Work, What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Spare Time?

Spending quality time with my two young children is very important to me and my priority.
