Are you looking for a legal career specialising in property transactions? If so, we would like to hear from you.

We are seeking to recruit at two levels: No prior legal experience is required for Conveyancing Assistants, but prior experience within a legal environment is required for Trainee Conveyancers.

Role 1 – Conveyancing Assistant

You are likely to be a school leaver or possibly someone who has decided that university is not for you. You will be a good communicator, ambitious, and have, as minimum, GCSEs in English and Mathematics. Those qualifications at A Level would be an advantage.

You will receive internal training and support and will be assigned to one of our conveyancing teams.  Your progression will not end there as there will then be opportunities to be supported with professional examinations that could lead to a role as Trainee Conveyancer.

Role 2 – Trainee Conveyancer

We are seeking applicants who are looking to build a career and work in a respected industry with an award-winning firm.

You will be educated to a minimum of A Level standard and, although not essential, a degree would be advantageous. You will need to be able to work under pressure, to strict deadlines and with a high level of accuracy.

After an initial period of training you will be assigned and supported by one of our established conveyancing teams. At the end of your initial training period you will be considered for external professional qualification training.

The Finer Details, Including How to Apply

All of these roles are based initially at our Head Office in Cardiff but, after training, there will be opportunities for you to work at any of our other branches. Each of the roles attracts a paid salary from day one.

Please apply with a full CV and covering letter explaining which of the roles is of interest and why you feel that you would be suitable for the opportunity.

Applications should be sent to recruitment@howellslegal.com.  We will not be accepting any applications via recruitment agencies.
