Helen Perkins, an experienced solicitor based in our Swansea office has been promoted to the position of Partner in the law firm.

Originally joining the family law department of Howells in 2010, Helen, a Welsh-speaking law graduate, transitioned across to the conveyancing department a couple of years ago. She now specialises in freehold, leasehold and new build purchases working directly with clients, as well as local and national estate agents.

Commenting on her promotion, Helen Perkins said:

“I am really pleased to be promoted to Partner. We have created a strong conveyancing department in Swansea and to be promoted to a senior position is an achievement I am very proud of. I look forward to continuing to help the firm to grow and develop its presence in the region.”

Our Swansea solicitors office now has 14 staff who provide comprehensive private and commercial legal services. Helen’s professional experience and high-skill set will be welcomed at the centre to help maintain the high-standards and quality of work whilst achieving business targets.

Sara Miles, Branch Manager and Head of Conveyancing in Swansea commented on Helen’s appointment. She said:

“Helen is highly respected by fellow legal professionals, local estate agents, financial advisors and other introducers, as well as her previous clients. Since joining Howells, our staff and clients have all benefitted from the experience and knowledge Helen brings with her, and her promotion is recognition of her continued hard work for the business.”

Helen’s promotion is part of our ongoing personnel strategy to recognise and reward staff for their personal contributions to the business. Newport-based Joanna Ingles and Leah Moore in our Bridgend office, who are both conveyancing specialists, are also being promoted to the position of Senior Associates.
