At Howells Solicitors we understand that moving home when you are a first time buyer can be very expensive so during the festive period, we will be offering a first time buyer the opportunity to use our conveyancing services free of charge (including search fees!).
During the festive period, Howells will be offering a first time buyer the opportunity to win free legal representation (including the cost of the search fees) when they purchase their new home which will equate to a saving of over £600!
To enter the competition, applicants are invited to e-mail info@howellslegal.com and in no more than 150 words explain why they think they should be selected to receive the legal fees for free!
A team from our conveyancing department will judge the entrants and decide who will win the free conveyancing prize.
The competition will run from December 10th to January 17th. If you are purchasing your first property you have nothing to lose as ALL applicants will be rewarded and automatically receive a £50 voucher towards their conveyancing costs should they choose to use Howells conveyancing services to purchase their first home.

To qualify to enter the competition, the applicant must be a first time buyer, the value of the property they are purchasing will be less than £175,000 and the property must be in the UK.
The lucky winner will be notified by January 19th

• If you have already instructed Howells Solicitors to act on your behalf prior to December 10th you will not be able to apply for this competition.
• You must be a first time buyer.
• Your case must complete prior to June 2014 to benefit from the fee legal fees or the £50 discount voucher.
• The lucky winning first time buyer will not pay for any legal fees, searches or any fees for the stamp duty land tax form. These will all be covered on their behalf by Howells Solicitors.
• Any Stamp Duty (if applicable) will be paid for by the purchaser.
• Land registry fees will be paid for by the purchaser.
• If the property is leasehold, here will be an additional disbursement for notice fees to the Landlord. The cost of the notice fees varies, as they are provided for in the Lease and will be paid for by the purchaser.
• If the case is introduced to Howells via a third party (panel agent or broker) you will not be eligible to enter the competition.
