The government has confirmed that there will be an additional bank holiday this year on Monday 8^th May 2023 to celebrate King Charles III’s Coronation, which is to take place on Saturday 6^th May 2023.

Spring has arrived, and with it so have the annual government revisions. As part of this, the government have announced increases to employment pay rates and a rise in compensation limits. These changes were announced by Chancellor Jeremy Hunt in his Autumn statement, and are due to come into action from April 2023.

The World Cup is kicking off later this week in Qatar, and for the first time in over half a century, Wales have qualified.

Whilst there be many from the Red Wall who will be making the trip, the vast majority of fans will be watching the matches on screens back here.

The time difference between Wales and Qatar means that the majority of the initial group matches will be taking place during the day when many will be in work. These include Wales v Iran at 10am on Friday 25^th November, and England v Iran on Monday 21^st November at 1pm.
