About Rhys

Rhys completed his postgraduate diploma in law at Cardiff University and the Legal Practice Course at Bristol Law School. He has a degree in history with Spanish from the University of Exeter. 

Since qualifying in October 2020, Rhys has had extensive experience acting for landlords and tenants on all types of leases, agreements for leases, assignments, licenses, authorised guarantee agreements and rent deposits. 

He acts for developers and landowners on the strategic acquisition of commercial and residential development land, including drafting and negotiating options, promotion agreements and contracts conditional on planning. 

Rhys has experience in development finance, acting for developers, banks, building societies, pension funds and alternative finance providers on acquisition and development funding.  

Rhys is a member of our corporate social responsibility committee and a long-standing season ticket holder with Cardiff City Football Club
