About Katy
Katy Allen is a Conveyancer who qualified with us in 2026. She has been a valued member of the Howells team since December 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience in Family Law and Wills and Probate from her previous roles. Originally from Gloucestershire, Katy moved to Swansea in January 2020.
Katy pursued her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Security Studies at Birmingham City University from 2016 to 2019. She furthered her legal education with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law, completed in July 2022, and a Master of Law, completed in November 2022, both at Birmingham City University.
In her role at Howells Solicitors, Katy specialises in residential conveyancing, a field she finds both fast-paced and rewarding. She takes great pleasure in helping clients purchase their first homes, sharing in their excitement and ensuring the process is as straightforward as possible. Katy has extensive experience with newbuild transactions and enjoys visiting newbuild sites and assisting clients with buying schemes such as Help to Buy.
Katy’s commitment to her clients and her ability to navigate the complexities of residential conveyancing. She is passionate about making the home-buying process smooth and enjoyable for her clients.
Outside of her professional life, Katy has a pet tortoise named Sheldon.
