About Karl
Karl graduated from Nottingham University with a 2:1 in law and then completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Nottingham Trent University.
After working in the insurance industry, Karl trained at a niche firm in London and qualified in April 2001. He returned to Cardiff in 2004, specialising in dispute resolution and employment law in a high street firm before practicing at a well-known Cardiff based firm for 18 years. Karl also specialises in sports law, acting for high-profile governing bodies and individuals.
Karl operates a HR retainer scheme for commercial clients, allowing organisations to receive commercial advice on all HR and employment law matters for a fixed fee. This scheme is popular with clients who appreciate the security of knowing they have access to specialist advice as often as necessary at no additional cost.
Karl has a wealth of experience representing individuals and organisations on a wide variety of matters including those before the Employment Tribunal, County Court and High Court, as well as through arbitration and mediation. He is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA).
Away from work Karl enjoys travelling, football (he is a Cardiff City supporter), cycling, hill walking and helping coach a local football team.
