About Jessica
Jessica graduated from the University of South Wales with a First-Class Honours degree in Law with Criminology and won the highest performing student award. She joined Howells in June 2023.
As a private client paralegal, the majority of Jessica’s work involves probate litigation. She often deals with cases involving disputes over Will validity (e.g. mental capacity), executor removal, and Inheritance Act claims.
Whilst completing her undergraduate degree, Jessica assisted a high volume of civil litigants at Cardiff County Court as a core volunteer for Support Through Court. She has also volunteered to present sessions on the litigation process to potential litigants through Street Law initiatives.
Jessica is friendly and empathetic in her approach, and is often complimented on her manner with clients. She appreciates the diversity and complexity of probate litigation and thoroughly enjoys this area of law.
As a member of Howells Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, Jessica is committed to helping others and making a positive impact. She is currently training to complete a half marathon to raise awareness and funds for City Hospice, which is the committee’s charity of the year.
