About Emily
Emily joined Howells in 2019, initially practicing as a Legal Assistant in the residential conveyancing department in Newport. She graduated from Swansea University with a 2.1 (Hons) LLB in 2016 and obtained a Merit in both her LPC and LLM from the same institution in 2017.
Emily began her training contract in March 2023, completing her first seat in residential property before taking a year out on maternity to welcome her first child. She has recently commenced her second seat in commercial property in Cardiff, with her training contract set to conclude in January 2027.
Prior to joining Howells, Emily gained valuable experience as a Paralegal at a high street firm in Newport and as a Legal Assistant at an established firm in Cardiff.
Outside of her professional commitments, Emily enjoys swimming, a sport she once pursued competitively. Currently, much of her free time is devoted to caring for her new baby girl.
