Howells Solicitors Swansea branch continues to expand with their newest member of staff, Employment Solicitor Lisa Hoare. Lisa graduated from Cardiff University in 2001 with an English degree and then went onto do a Masters in Forensic Linguistics before completing her Legal studies to become a solicitor.
She then completed her training contract in a Swansea based firm where she covered a number of legal disciplines. She then stayed at the firm for a further six months on qualification, before moving to Cardiff to specialise in Employment Law. She now joins Howells newest offices in Langdon House on the vibrant SA1 in Swansea. As well as her employment law knowledge she has also completed the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma at Swansea College and in recent months has also completed the NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification and the CIEH Training qualification.
Lisa is keen to assist businesses and as a result is soon to launch the De Facto Employment Law Services Package. The Package includes an advice line for employers to deal with all their queries, regular updates on new employment legislation, assistance with all of their employment problems from start to finish, amongst other benefits. She is keen to establish further relationships with Swansea businesses and become the Employment Solicitor they can trust and rely on. In addition she also assists employees with aspects of their employment rights including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy and much more.
Outside of work Lisa is a keen singer having been classically trained and is also part of a trio including a pianist and cellist. She also plays piano herself and enjoys composing and performing her own songs. In addition she is one of the leaders of a local dance group and enjoys keeping fit and exercising.
Lisa is a welcome addition to the, already successful Swansea office, which is one of Howells Solicitors five branches. The other branches can be found in Newport, Cardiff, Caerphilly and Talbot Green. Mr Philip Howell, founder partner of the firm states “We are delighted that Lisa has joined our team at Swansea. Since our arrival at SA1 we have seen business go from strength to strength despite the recession. Lisa is a very welcome addition to our employment department and in the short time she has been with us great interest has been shown in our employment advice package’.
