Howells Legal advise Mulberry Wealth Management in their acquisition of Morris Brown Ltd

Two South Wales financial advisers have acquired Morris Brown, an advisory firm in Cyncoed, Cardiff. Philip Payne and Richard Bevington worked with Morris Brown partner Mark Morris to set up Mulberry Wealth Management and acquire Morris Brown. Payne, Mulberry's managing director, said: "We are looking forward to developing our client base across South Wales." Mulberry was advised by Howells Solicitors.

Background

The new company, Mulberry Wealth Management Limited, is a new venture by two local advisors, Philip Payne and Richard Bevington; working with Mark Morris, an existing partner in Morris Brown Limited.  The company, will continue to deliver independent financial advice to personal and corporate clients across South Wales.

Howells Solicitors commercial team, headed up by Mark Hobbs, was responsible for advising Mulberry Wealth Management Limited on setting up its new company and purchasing Morris Brown Limited.
